Delta Showcases Advanced Charging Solutions to Realize Unmanned Charge for Industrial Vehicles at Automation Taipei 2024

Delta just participated in the Automation Taipei 2024 show from August 21st to 24th under the theme of "Charting the Path to Smart Green Manufacturing". Delta launched its next-generation smart green factory solutions, including the Virtual Machine Development Platform DIATwin, innovative digital twin platform developed on NVIDIA Omniverse. For industrial applications, Delta combined 3D machine vision and M∞Vair Series wireless charging system to optimize the operation efficiency of industrial e-vehicles and reduce manpower cost, realizing smart factories for clients.

To demonstrate the cutting-edge M∞Vair Series Wireless Charging Systems, Delta utilized a real AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) to simulate the contactless power transfer technology of the 1kW model and its application to warehouse and logistics scenarios, attracting the attention of many visitors and media. In addition, Delta also showcased the M∞Vair 03 (3.3kW model), which is suitable for mid-sized e-vehicles (heavy-lift AGVs and AMRs), and the M∞Vair 30 (30kW model), which applies to bigger carriers (such as e-forklifts, e-trucks, and luggage e-carts for airport luggage transportation). The M∞Vair Wireless Charging System comprises a primary unit, which is connected to the AC supply, and an onboard unit for forklift battery connection. It features autonomous charging within a gap of 2-15cm and a 92%-95% efficiency, offering contactless and wireless charging for various types of industrial e-vehicles.

For smart logistics, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) pick-and-place equipment and AC motor winding machines, and semiconductor equipment, Delta exhibited high-end DIN rail power supply Force-GT Series, LYTE II Series, and panel mount power supply PMR Series. Force-GT Series features -30°C to 70°C wide range operating temperature, -40°C cold start, and a built-in DC OK relay allows for connection to sensors in smart solution applications; the LYTE II Series offers single outputs of 24V and 48V and features a convection cooling function, suitable for reactive loads such as robotic arms, CNC machines and others; the PMR Series has small volumes and low profile, applicable to industrial equipment with limited installation space as well as commonly-seen utilities like household appliances, vending machines, and others.
